Why “Fugio”  [pronounced "foo-gee-oh"]

The Fugio* cent - or Franklin cent - was the first minted coin in the U.S. in 1787. Benjamin Franklin is credited with the design of the coin, including the use of the slogan “Mind Your Business” on its face, which is what we help every client do.

Across our careers, we consistently saw challenges faced by each organization whose root causes weren’t always easy to pinpoint. Underperformance costs companies valuable resources - time and money. All too often, it also costs companies their most valuable asset - their people. After years of experiencing this first-hand and seeing how common it was elsewhere, we knew there had to be a better way. That’s when we founded Fugio Partners.
